Gjert Tronstad has close to 30 years of experience within the IT industry, out of which the last 15 years primarily has been focused on security. His current role is head of IT Security/CISO in Elkem ASA.

Richard Skjærstad works strategically with large clients in Microsoft's security portfolio. He has experience from a number of areas such as telecom, datacom, Internet Of Things, OT systems, information security and digitization.

Nesibe Simsek works as an Intelligence Technology Specialist in Microsoft Norway where she helps organizations across the public and private sectors to become data-driven using a world-leading data and analysis tool, Power BI.

From CISO to CEO

A CISO's frequent challenge is how to report to their top level management. This is not due to lack of security dashboards. On the contrary, there are too many of them, and they are too technical. 
Richard Skjærstad has invited Gjert Tronstad who has spent a significant amount of time in trying to bridge the gap from security insights to a CxO level to comfort his management.
